The OT Collective

The OT Collective is a new partnership formed by four champions of local culture and community. Together, The Drawing Room, Barber Ha, Fort Heavy and The Edmonton Cocktail Society, we are transforming a vacant storefront formerly known as Orient Travel at 10137 97 Street into: 

• shared studio space for 12 emerging creative professionals

• contemporary art gallery and event space for gatherings ranging from pop-up shops to film screenings, and lectures to concerts

• coffee bar

• retail space for locally crafted products

• letterpress and silkscreen printing shop • barber shop• non-profit cocktail bar

Our vision is to promote cultural producers by fostering collaboration and engagement, as well as set the pace for 97th street to become an increasingly visible and active gathering place for people to inspire and engage with each other. In addition to increased collaboration and becoming home to engaging events, the creation of a gathering place in Boyle Street makes it possible to positively impact the community and change negative perceptions associated with the neighbourhood. For art lovers and proponents of culture in Edmonton, this is an opportunity to cultivate community, encourage creative industry, and support the arts.
